Beginning Your Demo Journey
We would like to introduce you to some of the new crew members at Planet Video:
Gerry Sackman, will be our new Operations Manager. He has 4 Emmy awards under his belt, and has been nominated 8 times for his work as Music Editor for "Star Trek: The Next Generation" and "Star Trek: Voyager." His role will be to help with all the little details, along with lending his 30 years of post production experience to the creation of your demo reel. Gerry has worked on feature films, and multiple television series, including dramas, sitcoms and movies of the week; along with editing the music for numerous trailers! Additionally, Gerry has worked with Producers, Executive Producers, and Casting Directors in all aspects of production and post production, so he knows what they want and need to see from your demo reel!
Daryl Baskin, Emmy nominated Picture Editor, is joining us with over 20 years of television and feature film editing experience. He is a true artist, and knows how to make you the focus! Daryl's experience has taught him to cut to the meat of the scene. Tempo, pacing, and story telling are all integral parts of the editing process, and Daryl will make sure that your demo stays along those lines. It will tell your story as an actor and make you the star! His demo reels are guaranteed to make you shine!
